Meet our Dental Hygienists! Focusing on preventive care and education, our dental hygienists help you maintain a healthy smile between visits. They perform thorough cleanings, take X-rays, and educate patients on optimal oral hygiene practices.

Tiffany

Tiffany is a Dental Hygienist who has been a licensed provider for about 20 years, and joined Associated Dentists in 2024. She performs preventative procedures, treats forms of Periodontal Disease, and takes radiographs to diagnose pathology. Tiffany holds a Bachelor of Science degree in dental hygiene from Mankato State University and has certifications in local anesthetic, nitrous oxide, and restorative functions. Her favorite part of her job is seeing patients’ oral health improve or stabilize, and her top dental tip is to floss sometime once a day rather than skipping it entirely. Tiffany believes the team’s integrity and respect for one another and for patients sets the practice apart. She is married with two cats, lives in St. Paul, and enjoys fixing up their 1920s house. In her free time, she loves to travel and is a big fan of visiting national parks.

Jill

Jill has been a registered Dental Hygienist at Associated Dentists for 43 years. She graduated from the University of Minnesota with a degree in dental hygiene and has local anesthetic training. Jill has also performed hospital dentistry, mainly for special needs patients, and volunteered twice in the 1990s at the San Lucas Toliman dental clinic in Guatemala. Her dental advice is that the mouth is the gateway to the rest of the body, with many systemic links, and that inflammation and infection are warning signs. She promotes using a Waterpik flosser as a beneficial adjunct, especially for individuals with hand limitations. Jill finds her greatest joy in working with patients, gaining their trust, and building lasting relationships. She notes that Associated Dentists has always provided excellent care with a dedicated and caring team of professionals. Jill lives in St. Paul with her partner, Sandy, and has three wonderful adult children. She loves to garden, bake treats for family and friends, and is a long-time season ticket holder for the MN Lynx, watching a lot of women’s basketball.

Katie

Katie is a Dental Hygienist and has been with Associated Dentists since January 2024 building on her 18 years of experience. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Iowa State University and an Associate of Dental Hygiene degree from Normandale, and is licensed to provide nitrous oxide and local anesthetic. Her favorite dental health tip is to encourage patients to floss before brushing to remove more harmful bacteria and to wrap the floss around their middle fingers for better maneuverability. Katie’s favorite part about working with patients is helping them feel comfortable and understand their oral health, striving to streamline their home care routines to be as efficient as possible. She was drawn to Associated Dentists, which has been in practice for over 50 years, by patient stories of kind care over their lifetime, and she strives to contribute to that exemplary care. In her free time, Katie supports her two teenage sons by cheering them on in their activities, including lacrosse, hockey, soccer, band, and choir concerts. She prides herself on being a gentle yet thorough hygienist who prioritizes patients’ comfort and supports them on their oral health journey.

Tammy

Tammy is a dedicated dental hygienist with a gentle touch and a passion for helping patients feel comfortable and confident in their smiles. With many years of experience, she provides exceptional care to every person she treats. Her best advice for all is that flossing daily is the best and least expensive insurance plan you can have! In her spare time, she enjoys caring for her two spunky cats and spending weekends with friends and family.

Storm

Storm is the lead Dental Hygienist at Associated Dentists. She initially started as a temporary employee in 2021 and, loving the environment, has stayed on ever since. Storm attended school in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, where she obtained her EMT license and dental assisting certificate while waiting for a spot in the hygiene program. She worked as an assistant for three years before graduating from the hygiene program in 2015. Her favorite dental health tip is that seeing alternate hygienists provides the best clean and overall care. What sets Associated Dentists apart for Storm is the dedication to patient care and health above all else, believing that everything done there serves to provide professional and kind dental interactions with elevated treatment and education. When not cleaning teeth, Storm enjoys walking her dogs or traveling the world. Her unique name was inspired by a main character in a 1980s romance novel.

Skyler

Skyler is a Registered Dental Hygienist originally from Bloomer, WI. She graduated from Northcentral Technical College in Wausau in 2021 and has been passionate about patient care ever since. Skyler is certified in CPR, Nitrous Oxide & Local Anesthesia Administration, and Periodontal Laser Therapy. Skyler finds the family atmosphere of the office special, and that many patients have been coming for generations and are treated like family. The team is close-knit and dedicated to improving the patient experience. Outside of work, Skyler competitively throws darts and travels to tournaments, having even competed with Team USA in an international event in Spain. She also runs a local sports photography page called Shots by Sky, often found with her camera at nearby games. Skyler enjoys kayaking, golfing, traveling, and sleeping in on the weekends.
